Mac OS LION nor supported?
I bought a ReadyNas NV+ in September last.
Late October I upgraded my computers to MAC OS Lion
Except via FTP, I haven't been able to login directly to my ReadyNas ever since.
The lady I spoke to at support this morning told me that Mac OS Lion is not yet supported and she had no idea on when this will the case.
How come this is possible? Am I the only one out there with the same problem? Can anyone help?
Thanks
Seb

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredMac OS X Lion is supported. I don't know who you spoke to. I'd suggest you edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include your case number.
What version of RAIDiator firmware are you running?
Please update to the latest RAIDiator firmware. You need RAIDiator 4.1.8 or later for Mac OS X Lion support.
4.1.9-T2 beta is also available. It's a pretty stable beta build and addresses performance issues with 4.1.8: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=59222
Welcome to the forum! - SebDesAspirantThanks mdgm
I followed your instructions regarding the RAIDiator upgrade -
Took me a while to understand how to do it but it now looks like I can access the hard drive ... Yes i know I am not an expert ;)
Thanks a lot for your help .. I'll now play with for a while to see if it is all good
SD - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCool. Future firmware updates will work the same way. You can configure the ReadyNAS to automatically check for firmware updates. Go to System > Update > Settings and check "Automatically Check for Updates" and click Apply. Also, test email alerts and make sure they're working. I recommend using Gmail: Using Gmail with the ReadyNAS
Then you should be alerted when a new firmware update is available and prompted to update.
Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
