My Readynas N+ v.2 has a disc failure, which one?

One of my hardrive has a disc failure on my Readynas Nv+ v.2. The raid type is X-Raid 2. It is still redundant. The volume is orange. In the info tab it shows all disc are okay in the status. I realy appreciate any help.

I thinl it is stange all the disc are ok, when I have a Disc Failure.

I do not know if you can read, on the screenprint of the log.

1: First there is a disc failure.

2: Then it says my volume is unprotected an and if one more disc fails the volume is dead and they recommand to replace the failed disc.

3: It says it says it is rebuilding the volume with disc 1

Hope to get some help

Cheers Jack

It doesn't look to like any drives have failed - and that on March 27th-28th it successfully recovered from whatever happened on the 26th.

You could contact support (support.netgear.com, use email) to confirm. Also, you should look at the SMART stats for all the drives.
  • Thanks for the reply I have contacted Nethgear. Where do I find the SMART stats?
