ReadyNas 104 with two 2TB drives cannot recognize 4TB drive via eSATA or USB (front or back)

Question

Hi all,I have &nbsp;a ReadyNAS 104 (100 with 4 bays). &nbsp;It currently has two 2TB drives in it in a XRAID. &nbsp;They are both synchronized.&nbsp;I want to use a 4TB drive connected to a Vantec NexStar (connected via either USB or eSATA) to backup the ReadyNAS.&nbsp;I am able to connect the NexStar to my PC via either eSATA or USB (front or back) and I can see the drive. &nbsp;When I connect it to the ReadyNAS I go to the System page to look for it (as shown here) and its not visible.&nbsp;My ReadyNAS is running version 6.4.2

Was the disk connected to the NAS at the time you downloaded the logs and if so to which port?

The disk was not connected when I pulled the logs, but I tried the two USB ports in the back as well as the eSATA so you should see that. &nbsp;I also tried a 500GB drive thinking that the limitation was with the Vantec NexStar (which it turns out is not the problem as I was able to see and format the 4TB drive in the NexStar when it was connected to my computer) so you should see that also.

The logs are not as useful if the USB/eSATA disk is not connected at the time you download the logs. Please connect the USB disk and download the logs whilst it is connected and send those in.
