readynas 716x failed after attempt to upgrade hard drives from 6tb to 8tb

Hi all I have failure go access all info on my readynas after I stared to upgrade the disks from wd 6tb to wd 8tb hard drives

 

pulled one and replaced - info degraded

overnight seemed to repair

pulled second and replaced - info degraded

overnight seemed to repair

pulled third one and replaced - info degraded

overnight seemed to repair

but one of the other 6 tb had a red light

so pulled and replaced

just said new disk

now have no access to info

 

can I put all the original discs in and reboot ?

 

30 tb of info needed

    Likely not, unless there were not files written to the volume over the several days you were upgrading.  The expansion would probably get in the way too.

     

    you should probably contact support - you might need data recovery.

      I packed it up and sent it away to the specialists to see if they save anything
