Readynas duo v2 + 2x wd30efrx = pb
Hi,
Configuration :
Readynas Duo V2 , firmware 4.1.14
2x WD RED WD30EFRX disks (3To Western Digital) wich are in your compatibility list (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20641/~/hardware-compatibility-list-hard-disks ,Legacy, Readynas Duo V2 )
Problem :
The ReadyNas Duo V2 see only 744Go on each disk (it should see 3To)
I try a 'Factory Default' reboot , but same result.
=>How to make the ReadyNas Duo V2 see 2 disks of 3 To ? (it should see , they are compatibles)
Can you help me please ?
Thanks

- RXLuminaryThe ReadyNAS Duo that you got is a v1. Kindly read this: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
Also, 3TB disks are not support on ReadyNAS Duo v1 because it does not have GPT partitioning. Check this link: http://www.readynas.com/app/hcl_disk
You could only use 2TB disk/s on ReadyNAS Duo v1. - NaunoAspirantThanks but, I checked and on the bottom of my 'charcoal' device is written on a sticker : ReadyNAS Duo RND2000 v2
# serial : 2102917000414
So no , it's seems to really be a ReadyNas Duo V2 and the wd30efrx is really on the compatibility list for this device.
My problem is still here... - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredRead the article again. That sticker actually indicates that you have a Duo v1 hardware revision 2.
The 4.1.x firmware is for the v1 hardware only. It cannot run on the v2 which has very different hardware including a different CPU architecture. - NaunoAspirantHoly....
sorry for all this mess : I thaugh I had a V2 ...
So I should buy 2To disks max....
Sorry
