READYNAS ultra 6
Unable to reset readynas OS via boot menu to allow factory password reset.
current password unknown
email registered is no longer available
Any help is appreciated

The process is documented on pages 28-29 here:
Make sure you do the OS reinstall (the factory default will destroy your data).
If you are running OS 4.2.x, the password will be reset to netgear1. If you have converted the NAS to run OS-6, then it will be reset to password.

Hi Stephen,
Appreciate the reply thank you.
Have followed the OS reinstall, however have been unable to log in to the device using the default username and password.
have tried each of the passwords below.
Any other ideas?

Should add;
I am using admin as the user name.
Any other defaults you know of?

Those are the only two default passwords for your NAS. Really old firmware from other models might use infrant1, but the Ultra6 came out after Netgear acquired Infrant.
Try using an incognito window on the browser. If you previously saved a password (which is now wrong), that could be the issue. An incognito window won't use any saved password.
