ReadyNAS214 with APC UPS pro 550 upgraded to 6.7.1

ok, after the firmware upgrade,

my nas will not shut down properly anymore, I set to shut down and the disk lights go off but the flashing blue button keeps going forever the screen says Goodbye , but it just hangs, the only way now to shut down is to turn my ups off and kill the lot

ive never had this problem b4

  • I've had it happen a few times, but never every time.  One possibility, I think, is that the OS partition is full and the unit is failing when trying to write the power-down info to the log.  An OS upgrade does use working space in the OS partition, maybe that didn't get cleared out properly.  Plus 6.7.1 may be a bit bigger.  Do you have SSH enabled so you can go in and take a look?  mdgm-ntgr may want to take a look at your logs, too.
