Recommend a second drive for a ReadyNAS Duo
I need to get a second drive for my ReadyNAS Duo (I thought it was a 2xxx but it says Duo on the case). I currently have a 500Gb drive (ST3500321CS) but I'm thinking of getting a 1-2Tb drive, so I can eventually get a second one later.
I researched some of the drives on the official compatibility list but most are no longer available in my price range (CAN$150 max). So what would you recommend? I've read a few people with problems with Seagate drives but I've not had any problems in many years of using them. Any suggestions appreciated.
Edit: Just realised I posted a long time ago that I have a 2150. :)

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIf you use a drive outside the list you will be denied support. I would stick to the drives on the list.
I've had a good experience with SeaGate but YMMV. - stodgeAspirantYes I understand about the official list and I want to stick to it. I've seen Seagate's ST31000524AS at CAN$100 online, which is tempting. It's also on the official list. Does anyone have any experience with this drive?
Thanks
