Replacement Power Supply for ReadyNAS NVX? Case #19099497
Hi,
It seems as though the power supply on our NVX ReadyNAS (RNDX4210) has failed.
Where can I buy a replacement from that will be ok in the unit?

- A newer firmware should be fine. You just don't want the Pro 4 to have any old firmware than 4.2.16 on it before doing the migration. After the migration you'll want to install the latest firmware as per the FAQ: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_migrate_disks_over_from_an_existing_readynas_to_another
- It all went smoothly, the Pro came with 4.2.17 installed and I believe it wrote some update to the disks (although the disks were on a newer firmware) and it all went smoothly and retained our security settings etc..
We have now updated the firmware to 4.2.21
