Replacement Tray Screws

Hi,

I have misplaced the remaining tray screws for my Pro and I was wondering if someone could tell me if these screws are ok to use. They look the same as the others I have and from what I can tell on the forum they should be ok. The description says they are '6/32 x 0.25" with 82 degree angle'.

Cheers
Wayne.

  • You can get extra screws via Support. See phone numbers in my signature below.
  • They may.

For a temporary situation, you can rob two of the screws from the trays that you already have in service. This hint came from the ReadyNAS development team who only use two screws per tray (diagonal pattern with only one per side). If you have three trays in service, this will solve your situation while seeking a permanent solution or waiting for some to arrive in the mail.
  • Thanks guys,

I called support and managed to get some sent out. Even though my hardware warranty had expired in March they still said they would send them out.

    Cheers
    Wayne.
  • Hello,
Contact Netgear Tech Support in your country, for spare screws for disk caddy's.
We in UK Tech Support have a small stock.
