RN 104 freezing/not responding/locking up with FW 6.4.0

RN 104 keeps freezing and becomes unresponsive (even the lcd screen freezes). I have to disconnect the power supply everytime. It tries to resync the data, but it freezes at random points. 3x 1 TB ...

Hi, just installed the Beta as instructed. Copied over 2 files fine (one by one). Proceeded to attempt to copy over a third and the unit froze up again. Had to unplug and replug the power and it started to Resync again.

Seems the issue still persists even with the Beta update.

I am suffering from the same issue. Since updating the firmware to 6.4.0 the device hangs when I try to write new data with SMB. The only way to reset is to remove the power.

After booting I can read data with SMB or FTP. Then after a while SMB fails and the admin web page fails while FTP continues to work but only for reading.

The device has been working for a few hours now but I noticed SMB was turned off on a couple of shares so I went to turn it on using the web interface.

I got a strange messageNot sure if this is good or bad but it seems to have worked.

Decided to go ahead and install the new 6.4.1 beta mentioned above. So far it seems to be alot better but is only been an hour.

I have been experiencing this issue since 6.2.4. I have now also tried 6.4.0 and: freezing again!

The solution I know, is downgrading to 6.2.2. I advise everybody to do the same!!!!!

I encountered the problem that with 6.2.4 downgrading was possible, but with 6.4.0 not.
