RN104 2 volumes mix drives

I have two volumes named VOL1 and VOL2. Each volume is a RAID1 mirror set with 2 Toshiba 1TB disks in each volume. I would like to increase VOL2 from 1TB to 3TB by replacing them with 2 WD RED 3TB drives listed in the HCL for the RN104. Are having 2 different brand drives on separate volumes a supported configuration?

    Yes.  In fact you can mix brands in the same volume, and (with xraid) can have different disk sizes in the same volume.
