RN3138 raid degrader, will it rebulid
Hello.
My volume is degraded, disk 2 of 4 is failed.
I replaced disk number 2 and it seems the array is not rebuilding.
I cant see disk 2 and 4 in volumes screen.
Green leds in disks 2 and 4 are blinking in green. Video

Is RAID Rebuilding? Wait, reset, format, cry?

Ps. I posted it in wrong board I think.

I'm not very familiar with how the NAS reacts in RAID10, but I think that may be normal if the two drives shown in green are one RAID0 and the other two are the other two are the ones that should be in the other RAID0 that then should RAID1 with the first. It can't mount the entire second RAID0 with a missing element. With those two blinking, it may be syncing them in RAID0, after which it will sync that with the other two. But I don't know why that sync isn't showing in the GUI, though. Have you refreshed the display since you swapped the drive? It's odd that it seems to show no drives in those slots, not even uninitialized ones.
Are your files accessable? I think they should be, because I believe that message is saying your volume is degraded (not redundant), not dead. If so, no crying. If you can access them, now is psobably a good time to make sure your backup ius up to date in case the only soluition is a factory default.
Can you download the log zip file using the buitton on the Logs page and post the contents of mdstat.log so we can see what's going on with the RAIDs? Logs are usually easiest to read if you post them using the code </> icon at the top of the edit window.
If the RAID didn't start re-sync, the question becomes why. Is the drive you added at least as big as it's mate? Does the log even show that you added the drive? If not, could the new drive just be DoA?

I've been looking at this screen for 6 hours and you finally wrote, thanks!

Yes, i logout and login again, few times.
Yes, my files are accesable, and have backup of them.
I think I can move files to another server, and recreate volume; willl you do that?
> Can you download the log zip file using the buitton on the Logs
I try, but logs are not generating, strange. And I see nothing in System- Settings- Services.
I wanted to setup SSH service, but I cant. And cant connect via putty on server (Im not sure SSH was turned on before)

No- disks are the same size and even PN ( I bought 5 disks, and one was waiting for today :-0 )
> Does the log even show that you added the drive? If not, could the new drive just be DoA?
No I do not see info in logs . What DoA mean?
Strange things is it that i cant restart server, even shut down. It tries to do that, but only one PING is lost during that operations.
