RNDP6000-200EUS vs RNDP6000-200NAS

Hi
I'm getting confused - are the above basically the same model or are they different in some way?

In the UK only the "RNDP6000-200EUS" seems to be generally available...I'm hoping that this is basically the ReadyNAS Pro 6 diskless with the Intel multicore 2.8GHz processor?

Is the "EUS" bit just referring to the fact that it's for the UK or Europe perhaps?

TIA,
Jason.

Also, the CPU specs link has a comment that indicates that the info may not be 100% correct.

That list was written by one of our fellow users, not NetGear so he felt it was appropriate to mention that the list may not be 100% correct (I believe it is currently 100% correct and he does try to keep it up to date).

Why doesn't Netgear just post a verified list?

They can change components used in NAS units. For most users performance figures are going to be more important to see than the model number of the CPU that is included.

I believe it was initially mistakenly advertised as 2.8Ghz.

You can see a good summary of the CPUs used in various ReadyNAS models here: CPU Specs of the ReadyNAS

Actually this summary is probably outdated.
At the time it was published, the RNDP6000 available was the v1. Its product code (not mentioned in the article) was RNDP6000-100xxx (xxx being the code describing the power supply used, depending on the region the NAS is sold in (EUS in Europe, NAS in N-Am.).
A new model have been recently launched and we have now available in the stores the RNDP6000-200xxx : the second version of the ReadyNAS Pro.
Note that some shop could still sell the first version.

The version 1 and the version 2 have different processors. The Netgear PDF lists an un-named "2.66GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor" for the RNDP6000-200xxx. (But Netgears PDFs have been known to have typos in them ;-))

So, 2.8GHz or 2.66GHz? We'll have to wait for someone to telnet a RNDP6000-200xxx to know for sure.
