SqueezeCentre refuses to start ReadyNAS Duo
Hi All.
Just reinstalled two drives in my Duo (v1).
Two old disks gave me problems and it would not start!
So, all up and running, data restore tomorrrow 8)
The problem I have is now with SqueezeCentre. I can't get it to run - I click on the checkbox, and the 'Apply' button becomes active. Good so far. Then click on the Apply button itself. It waits... and then comes back. SqueezeCentre box is now unchecked. Tried it several times. No dice, it unchecks itself every time. There is a 'Setup' button.. click on it in explorer, nothing happens. Click on it in Chrome, and a completely blank window pops up.
That's it - all shares working as they should - everything else seems just fine. RAIDiator version 4.1.12.

- Also tried to remove the service... nope... check the box, click on remove..and it stays right there!
- If you haven't restored your data and the nas is empty, I would just do a factory reset and reinstall lms.
- Nothing doing - reset to factory defaults, click on Squeezecentre and tick the box, click apply. It thinks for a minute then it unticks the box. Happens everytime!
If you reset the box, there is no squeezecentre to click on, correct? Check the box, click apply and the box unchecks itself.
Have downloaded the add-on, installing now :) - Had you installed the old squeezecenter or Logitech media server? What version is on the box?
Have you tried installing lms using the local update procedure?

Edit: I see you are doing this now. - OK... LMS installed. The Squeeze box picks it up, but its so slow to update if at all. I've loaded some 30+ albums onto the NAS, and can only view them via folder view. Browse via albums artists etc and no dice - they aint there or am I being impatient after 30 Minutes :)
- Is the Nas still in resync?
