PhpMyAdmin & MysqlOn Problems
Hi all :D
This is my first post here so go easy with me ...
OK I've recently bought a second hand ReadyNAS Duo V1 and am trying to get it up & running as a web server to use wordpress on. I have read plenty of info on the subject and followed a couple of guides to the best of my ability but have come across the problem of not being able to log into PhpMyAdmin due to the Username & Password that is highly discussed elsewhere on the web.
Now my question is, when it says 'Edit the file config.inc.php' where exactly am I supposed to be looking for this file to edit? I have searched high & low for an answer to this but to no avail. I'm along the lines of thinking that it maybe something to do in Front View under the MysqlOn option which brings me to my second question, although its more of a query. In Front View MysqlOn is on and up & running but the inner box shows no content at all, is this correct? Its just that the PHP5 & PHPMyAdmin have content in their inner boxes but the MysqlOn is completely blank. This I found to be a little odd.
MysqlOn V.1.0
PHP5 V.5.3.28-sparc-4.5.5
PHPMyAdmin V.2.5
RAIDiator V.4.1.13 [1.00a043]
RAIDar V.4.3.8 ( 4.3.8 )
Mac OS X 10.4.9
Oh, and I also d/l a copy of iTerm if that helps!
Many thanks in advance :)

Where am I supposed to see config.inc.php ? I do not see it in Terminal, on my ReadyNAS nor in Frontview - StephenBGuru - Experienced Userwhen you entered
cd /etc/phpmyadmin
what did you see?
ls -l - mode500AspirantIn terminal, nothing!
In iTerm, No such file or directory - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI think terminal is what you want (though I am not a mac guy)
ssh root@nasipaddress would get you into the NAS
did
cd /etc/phpmyadmin
navigate you into /etc/phpmyadmin without an error? - mode500AspirantYes I am already using ssh in Terminal and the cd /etc/phpmyadmin command just returns nothing like this '>
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserOk. That means the directory exists. Otherwise you'd get
-bash: cd: /etc/myphpadmin: No such file or directory
and if you then enter "ls -al" you only see the files . and .. ??? - mode500Aspirant

See the files where!?!
In terminal I still only get a reply of '>
And in iTerm (Mac's Putty equivalent) I do get a return of -bash: cd: /etc/phpmyadmin: No such file or directory - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserOk. Are you sure you are actually logged into the NAS with both iterm and terminal???
For instance, if you entercd /c
ls -l
do you see the shared folders on the NAS - mode500Aspirant
