Then, copy and paste the following as a shell command (it is a SINGLE command)/c/webroot/subsonic/jre1.6.0_20/bin/java -Xmx700m -Dsubsonic.home=/c/webroot/subsonic -Dsubsonic.host=0.0.0.0 -Dsubsonic.port=4040 -Dsubsonic.httpsPort=0 -Dsubsonic.contextPath=/ -Dsubsonic.defaultMusicFolder=/c/media/music -Dsubsonic.defaultPodcastFolder=/c/media/Podcast -Dsubsonic.defaultPlaylistFolder=/c/media/playlists -Djava.awt.headless=true -verbose:gc -jar subsonic-booter-jar-with-dependencies.jar

Thanks, I get this:Unable to access jarfile subsonic-booter-jar-with-dependencies.jar
- pkasTutorOops, sorry.
Before trying to execute the long command, you have to do the following:
cd /c/webroot/subsonic
Once you are in the correct directory, you'll be able to execute the long java command.
Phil - pkasTutorAny luck, kc1?
- xsspeed03AspirantI'm having the same issue. Since updating to 4.7.04, Subsonic randomly stops. Any ideas what's causing this?

having same problem on my ultra4, but it has been working fine on my probiz.
I tried disabling the autoscan, but even still it stops. Very strange.
I keep a tail of the log open and there is nothing in particular that shows up when it dies.- gibxxiGuideI used to get issues with Subsonic stopping every 24 hours with the early 4.x versions. But 4.7.x versions have all been solid for me.
One thing I have changed recently in my config which was initially overlooked was "Fast Access Mode". I have this selected, so "on the fly" updating doesn't happen. The library only gets updated then upon scheduled (or manual) library scans. I did this change in the belief that it would stop Subsonic polling the HDD's in the NAS so much. Anyone else who's having problems have this option on? - pkasTutorDid you try what I suggested here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=64131#p370277
This should automatically restart subsonic after it dies each day. This has worked flawlessly for me.
pkas - xsspeed03AspirantOK, I tried it. We shall see if it works. I'm sure it will if it worked for you. If I don't post back, that means it worked. Thanks in advance for the tip.
- pkasTutorGreat! Good luck!
- dsm1212ApprenticeI posted a tiny cron job script I use to keep subsonic running a while back. This isn't a new problem.
Anyhow I wanted to say the reason that the checkbox doesn't stick on frontview for subsonic running is that the addon failed to add the line SUBSONIC=0 to /etc/default/services. The line for SUBSONIC_SUPPORT=1 was added but not the line that stores the current state. If you add a line SUBSONIC=1 when you have subsonic on then it will persist when you turn it on and off. Now this line was there before so the addon update must have actually removed it.
