Transmission 2.52 Incoming connections

Are you forwarding 51413? or is uPNP managing it for you?

uPNP is managing it, maybe i should turn off uPNP and forward it myself see if there is any change.

It is better if uPNP manages it, as then the port should close when transmission is done with it.

I am thinking two things -
(a) maybe torrent clients are still attempting to connect to you, even though there is nothing active. Perhaps a tracker has not yet updated for instance.
(b) maybe you actually still are seeding something?

its strange i have not even got any torrents in the list, and no incomplete or complete torrents in the downloads folder,
just checked router logs and its still going on it is as like i do have something going really strange.

Well just disabled Transmission and its stopped, so now i will restart Transmission and see what goes.

Enabled Transmission and lots of incoming connection again, do you think this could be a bug with transmission ?
maybe you remove a torrent and Transmission is still acting like its there.

Do you have DHT enabled in Transmission? That is quite possibly the cause.

:lol: Disabled everything DHT PEX and still incoming connections they only stop when i actually disable transmission, just seems while its running it keeps excepting incoming connections.

Edit: Maybe its just borked because when i choose the ketu interface it does not change, it confirms its changed but when i go into it its still the standard interface.

I'm guessing that's a plausible deniability feature. Everyone with it installed has the same odd sorts of traffic, therefore ISPs can't single you out for being bad. :P

I have noticed the same thing about all torrent clients that I tried - even with DHT/PEX/etc. disabled. If I start up uTorrent, my router connections start climbing into the thousands, even though it's totally empty.

If i start up uTorrent with no torrents running i get incoming connection about 1 every minute, but Transmission its about 1 a second seems a bit extreme, well sometimes its multiple connections at the same time like below, and thats no torrents active.
