Access admin page from the internet.

I swear I tried this the day I got it, but it didn't work; but now it seems to be working just fine! It looks like I have to add https:// before the ip and port which I guess I wasn't doing before. Also I'm not too worried about security since I just use my NAS for dumping music and random crap. Thanks a bunch!

I gave up on that tool since this happened on 2 machines. I think it is because the VPN it installs conflicts with the one I have? It works fine initially, but after a while it fails to launch showing this error message. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling the software doesn't help; but uninstalling, clearing out all registry keys and program files, deleting the app data folder, deleting the vpn driver from sys32, and finally reinstalling fixes it. But then it eventually breaks again. =/


I heard somewhere that they are replacing Readynas remote with a yet to be released tool called "ReadyCLOUD". I have the Android app and it works fine for me, but it is limited in functionality. Any news when the Windows (and hopefully Linux!) versions might come out?
