Backup Status: Fail: authentication error during copy.
I am trying to backup department shares and most of the time I get the error "Backup Status: Fail: authentication error during copy."
Sometimes the backup is successful but most of the time it is not. I am guessing the readynas does not backup properly if some of the files are in use.
Any info appreciated.

- I have the same difficulty. The error was absent on the first backup, but persists now. No files in the source (remote) location are in use. Any help will be appreciated.
- If you reboot the NAS and PC do you still get the error?
What firmware version are you running?
What version of Windows?
What level of AD?
