Gmail SMTP setup
Hi guys. I'm trying to set up my nas on the smtp.gmail.com. My dsl changed again and I can't remember what the hell that account is anymore and it doesn't work, so I'm going with this one now. http:/...
Thanks Dave. That's what I used that account for, nothing but the alerts. Unfortunately they changed all the servers a while back and I never did check on that. I never really used that account and then when I went back to use it, it just didn't work anymore. I know I could call them and find out since I don't know what my user name or password is now. I do hope we can use the gmail later though...other than that you are right, the gmail account doesn't work with any port as far as I can tell.
