Hardware Compatibility List Hard Disks
I realize it's hardware related but since it's also OS 6 related I figured I would ask here. I also realize Netgear doesn't support OS 6 on Legacy devices however I'm wondering if the Hardware Compati...

Most disks that work in e.g. the 516, hopefully would work on the U6P running OS6.
For the most part I think if you use NAS disks or enterprise disks you should do reasonably well. But disks can and do fail at any time. So consider how important your data is to you and decide whether you want to backup your data. Consider what would losing all your data on the array mean to you?
