How to downgrade firmware?
Hi, we have a NVX unit.
After upgrading the firmware to Radiator 4.2.19 we've started to see increased SMART errors and ultimately had a Disk Failure reported.
We've replaced that disk and have been getting warnings of SMART errors increasing with this new disk too.
I'd like to downgrade back to 4.2.18 or 4.2.17.
Is there a way to do this?
Is there a way to do this without loosing any data?
We have a backup routine to an external drive, but I'd like to keep the date in the NAS just to speed up the process.
Thanks for your help,
Manuel

- you can downgrade the same way you upgrade, just download the firmware update, and update through frontview.
no data is lost.
there is a limit, you can not downgrade to 4.2.15 or earlier due to partition changes

regarding your smart errors, its highly unlikely to be related to raidiator, you should check the drive(s) in question with the vendor tools (ie wd diags), its more common than people realize to get bad disks even new ones.
smart errors come from the drives themselves, raidiator simply reports what the drive tells it.
