How to setup CUPS on ReadyNAS 214, so I can remote print to Brother Printer
I'm looking for the CUPS app that will let me use my Brother printer when I'm away from home.
I never use my Desktop.. so I'm hoping to leave it & my laptop OFF and just
have the printer wired to the ReadyNAS 214.

( I was using google cloud print through my Desktop.. but it seems Google Cloud Print
has Crapped out )
.
I did find a CUPS download but it would not work with the 214.

Currently, the add-ons/apps listed at ReadyNAS Apps are the ones submitted to NETGEAR to work with ReadyNAS OS6 units.
Support for printers on USB ports of ReadyNAS has been removed from ReadyNAS OS6. Probably the one you saw is for OS4 or OS5.
You may also post suggestions and ideas at Idea Exchange board. Adding kudos to the ideas will help as development team will be reviewing the post that has the most kudos for considering it to add to the product's future functionality.

There is a CUPS download in super_poussin's drop box here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Current-NETGEAR-and-Partners/Addons-available-For-R6/td-p/842756. But the CUPS drivers folder only contains x64, so that download won't work with the RN214.

What download did you find and why wouldn't it work with the 214?
