Instructions on downgrade Netgear NAS firmware

I am looking for instructions to restore netgear NAS previous firmware. Do you know where I can download?

What firmware are you running now, and what do you want to downgrade to?

I am on the firmware 6.6.1 and will upgrade to firmware 6.9.3 sometimes next week.
So where does the downgrade part come in?

I want to get the instructions on how to restore the previous firmware to be prepared, in case the new firmware causes an issue for us.
Got it. I don't work for Netgear, but they will almost certainly say what's already in their release notes:
- Devices updated with 6.9.3 firmware should not be downgraded to firmware versions before 6.9.0.
In the specific case of 6.9.x, they've made changes to the boot loader to include a safe mode. So I think downgrading would be problematic.
I do recommend having a full backup of your data before upgrading from 6.6.1.
