Logged in as admin. Cannot change domain users primary group to domain admin
My Domain administrator is set as a domain user and I want to change it to domain admin. The Groups is grouped out in the Account>users>Administrator>Groups section.
Hello Tripline,
Please provide model number and firmware version of your ReadyNAS.
Is your ReadyNAS integrated to AD? The ReadyNAS will just copy the ADS accounts from your AD. Existing domain user, "Administrator" needs to be adjusted to have admin rights. I guess you need to change that first then integrate again the NAS to the AD.

You don't configure permissions for Domain Users on ReadyNAS -- you configure them on Active Directory.
Ensure your Domain Admin in Active Directory is set to Primary Group "Domain Admins" and not "Domain Users"

Got it. Admin was in user group and admin group (don't ask me why) so I guess user group took precedence.
