My NV+ died :(
Hi all!
I have a problem - my nas is not turning on. I suspect that power supply is dead, so my questions are:
1. Is there any way to buy the power supply that is compatible with ReayNAS NV+ (RND4000-100NAS)?
2. If the answer on 1st question is "No" - is there any way to use any other power supply? It looks like that it's just standard ATX, but i want to be sure.
3. If the answers on 1st and 2nd questions are "No", the last question - is there any way to get the information from the hard disks? I suspect that there's just ordinary linux LVM RAID, but not sure, of course.
If any one has any idea - you're welcome.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhen did you purchase this NV+? Depending on when you purchased it, it may still be under warranty.
The RND4PSU1 is the PSU for the NV+ (v1)
A standard ATX PSU won't work. It needs to be modified. - h4lt3rAspirant>When did you purchase this NV+? Depending on when you purchased it, it may still be under warranty.
The problem is than i'm not in the USA so the logistics will be very expensive.

Thanks for information!
Ok, one more question - as is i can see, my problem can be also with the motherboard (which is less possible, afaik, but anyway), so is there any way to test the power supply? I mean, kinda "if the power supply is ok, it should give +5V on green wire and should give +12V on red wire if yellow and blue are short circuited", or something like. - h4lt3rAspirantAnd what about to read information from hdds (maybe on the other PC with linux via usb-sata adapters)? Am i right and there's just ordinary LVM, or Netgear uses some proprietary raids?
- h4lt3rAspirantI've ordered and installed a new power supply and storage is working now! mdgm, thanks for help!
PS. starting to think about to make a local spares stock :)
