Network error code: 0x80070035

Hi

I am unable to upload any files to the NAS since downloading windows 10. Every time I click on the NAS folder in the network it advises that windows can not access my NAS displaying error code 0x080070035 network pathway nopt found.

Action taken: A default reset with still the same outcome with the NAS is working in the ready cloud and NAS settings.

I feel that it is just a network setting issue and have tried changing file access settings and static IP address to no effect.

I hope you can help as I have spent 2 days trying to fix the problem.

Cheers

What firmware are you running on the NAS?

Did you assign the PC and the NAS to the same workgroup?

same problem here, cant connect to the drive maps, red crosses on the links under network. i can ping the address and connect to the management console but no access to the drive maps.

also readycloud cannot find my nas, cant figure out what the problem is exactly.

  • Hi Brian. i exwcuted the command net[space]use[space]*[space]/delete. After this the NAS initially was gone as network device in explorer. Only the main PC was left seen. The it reappeared in the list and when trying to access I got the same error message again. How can I clear all ReadyNas login?
    Thanks, Ben

Try opening cmd and running two commands:

      net use * /delete

      net use t: \\nasipaddress\data /user:admin nasadminpassword

The second command should map the NAS data volume to drive letter t.  Note I am suggesting using the IP address of the NAS instead of its name.  Be careful on the slash direction.

Dear Brian, I am not sure on the syntax since all I used went wrong. To access the NAS admin I normally use my email address plus a password with upper and lower case letters.

What do I fill in at "user:admin" ?

        Ben
