Model: Infrant ReadyNAS
Firmware: RAIDiator™ v2.00c1-p9 [1.00a125]
When I look in the Security menu I only have options for Share, User or Domain, but no "ADS". I guess my question is, is there a newer firmware that is even available for this device that will allow AD integration with 2008 R2?
Thanks
That firmware is pretty ancient. RAIDiator 4.1.8 is the latest. Server 2008 didn't even exist when RAIDiator v2 was released.
First, update your firmware.
Second, while 4.1.8 is the latest, due to the age of the systems running the 4.1.x series of firmware, not everything has been able to be implemented. Specifically there can be some quirks when using server 2008 R2 in domain security mode.
