No volume after 6.7.1 upgrade

Well, another day another problem with OS6.X and my Ultra4+.  :smileymad:  I got notification this morning that a backup job from my 626X failed to my Ultra4+.  I was able to login to the Ultra4+ and see that no volume existed.  I also saw the following error in the logs:

Bit rot has detected an error within //var/cache/debconf/templates.dat and cannot correct the error.

The volume errors are as follows:

I have to wonder if the error is just a continuation of issues I seen previously on another thread I posted:  https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Frontview-not-accessible-ReadyNAS-Ultra4-Plus/m-p/1265968/highlight/true#M128220

At least this time I'm able to gain access via Frontview/GUI and download the logs/etc.  The only thing I tried so far was rebooting but that did not fix the issue. The Upgrade to OS 6.7.1 was intially fine even after a few reboots, but I do run my Ultra4+ on a schedule and therefore it only powers on so backup jobs can run from my 626X to it.  That said, I'm beginning to think the ONLY solution is to factory reset the Ultra4+ and let it rebuild the OS/volume completely.  On a side note, I was under the impression the benefit of bit rot was it's ability to mathematically correct data errors since it runs a calculation when it writes every piece of data.  I guess that's not the case since this isn't the first time it has failed to correct an issue.  Any help is appreciated.
