No volume exists - Case #28413268
Disk array became suddenly unavailable and after a reboot system shows "No volume exists" message.
dmesg.log shows following error:
[Tue May 9 22:39:34 2017] BTRFS (device md127): bad tree block start 635660293921743433 21055037210624
[Tue May 9 22:39:34 2017] BTRFS (device md127): bad tree block start 635660293921743433 21055037210624
[Tue May 9 22:39:34 2017] BTRFS: failed to read tree root on md127
[Tue May 9 22:39:34 2017] BTRFS: open_ctree failed
Please tell me what to do, I'm quite desperate as I have 10 TB of data and no backup on that array... :-(
Thanks,
Roberto Tosco
Thanks for your suggestions Stephen, however I managed to connect to my NAS via SSH and mount the array in read-only / recovery mode with command sequence:
mkdir /mnt/recovery
mount -t btrfs -o ro,recovery /dev/md127 /mnt/recovery
I'm copying all the data to various disks and then I'll try to repair the original filesystem with btrfs check --repair command.
If that does not work I'll reformat the array and copy back the data.
Hope this can help other users with similar troubles without having to pay money to fix someone else's software bugs...
Cheers from Italy,
Roberto

Has support looked at it yet? It's probably best to wait for them at this point.
My guess is that you are facing data recovery. If so, it will cost, and results are not guaranteed. Netgear does provide that (support will give you the details, they are also here: https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service ). Some users have reported success with a tool called ReclaiMe.
