Raiditor 5.3.6 - accessing the Genie marketplace
I have been trying to see what GENIE apps are available on the ReadyNAS NV+ v2 with Raidiator 5.3.6. The NAS presents me with a login box for Genie marketplace. I do not have such an account, so I click on the link saying "Create a Genie Marketplace account". The NAS then fails to load this page with the error message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at <nas name>:5050."
Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

- JasonB1AspirantJust bought the ReadyNas NV+ V2 and have 4 V1s at work. Overall experience is positive but Genie apps are just not working on my V2. I can't get past the log in either.
The number of available plugins and apps for the ARM version of this device really does suck. I was planning on selling my Duo but am hanging on to it until I can get some basic functionality working on this.
If someone can point me at the 'community' addons for this device then great.
Waiting for the fix.

However Genie Apps is where NetGear is moving to. - flgriffoAspirantBE CAREFUL WITH THIS APP STORE. Here are the problems:
- Login info from product registration does not work at all. Had to create an account with another email address.
- When entering credit card billing information, it does not allow you to select any country other than the US. Is this supposed to be a US-only service ?
- After getting an error message about the billing Info, I cancelled the operation and MY CREDIT CARD WAS BILLED IMMEDIATELY.
- My Purchases area shows no applications
- Tried to find an email address or phone number to contact Marketplace, but couldn't find anywhere. HOW DOES A COMPANY RUN AN APP STORE WITHOUT INFORMING CUSTOMER SERVICES CONTACTS ? DOES ANYBODY HAS THEIR CONTACT INFO ??
Honestly, I have never seen an eCommerce service with so many problems as this one. "Invalid Username or Password.Your account may be locked."

I can't log in to Genie on the NAS nor on the genie.netgear.com
and when I try to create a nev account it says I allready have account
and when I chose "forgot password" the site dose not send any mail to me
