6.9.3 Admin page not accessible
It seems I hit a known issue by upgrading my RN31400 to 6.9.3. The admin page is not accessible any longer. I tried all known tricks from win10 PC: chrome browser, cache clearance,.... nothing brings...

Safe mode isn’t for downgrading the firmware it’s for problems where the NAS is unable to boot.
Your system is booting fine. If it wasn’t amongst other things you wouldn’t be able to access your data.
There are a few ways to fix it if the cause is what we suspect and neither involve downgrading the firmware.
One is to do what evan2 suggested, the other is to run a few commands via SSH.

For me HTTP is no longer accesible with 6.9.3 but HTTPS works. But the problem with that is RAIDar no longer can access the admin page.
The other issue is I get a certificate error with the admin page using HTTPS.
The HTTP service has admin access checked, but it is not working. Must be a bug introduced in 6.9.3. Previous versions worked.
Also, you cannot disable HTTPS. It is grayed out.

Generally browsers now will try https, and then fail over to http (no matter what you put in the address bar). Since https responds, the browser stays with it (and gives you the certificate warning because the certificate is self-signed).

RAIDar accesses mine just fine - though I do get the usual cert warning.

Please check if you choose "Enable HTTP Admin" in HTTP settings,
Please note: HTTP and HTTPS can't disable,
if enable HTTP Admin in HTTP settings, default HTTP access NAS,
if don't enable HTTP Admin in HTTP settings, only HTTPS access NAS.

Yes, but again if both HTTPS and HTTP connect, current browsers will use HTTPS.
If you forward to NAS port 80 in your router, then you shouldn't enable HTTP admin, as it creates a big security risk.
