ReadyCloud online VPN disconnected
Hi,
Since 3 weeks, i can't access the nas with ReadyCloud Windows desktop apps. Issue "online (VPN disconnected)".
But no problem with readycloud.netgear.com/ and IOS apps :/
I try switch ON/OFF ReadyCloud service
Reboot
Install/uninstall the apps
Nothing better
Does Netgear VPN server have problem or it is the firmware 6.10.4 ???
Thanks,
Olivy
RN212 firmware6.10.4
StephenBtoday all is ok !
so you are wrong when you said "Since the iOS app is working, we also know that the cloud servers are basically up (though it is very possible that they do something different with Windows than they do with iOS)."
Problem cam from netgear servers and desktop apps.
Done for me.

Since the web interface is working, we know it isn't the connection between the ReadyNAS and the Netgear Cloud. That rules out 6.10.4 firmware.
Since the iOS app is working, we also know that the cloud servers are basically up (though it is very possible that they do something different with Windows than they do with iOS).
So I'd look closer at the PCs, and try to figure out what might have changed there.

I tried differend pc Win10 20H2 and Win101909, it is the same.
It is very strange because there is no problem to use readyCloud in the LAN. In WAN side, there is the issue.

Not sure how this contradicts what I said, since I pointed out that the servers might do something with Windows than they do with iOS. But it sounds like you are up and running again, so that is good.
FWIW, I tried ReadyCloud many years ago, and basically gave up on it. Service outages were too frequent, and performance was too variable. I use the OpenVPN service built into my Orbi router, which is far more stable.
