No, I probably should start one. Ive not heard back from the client since Friday, I think they were backing up manually over the weekend so Ill catch up with them today and see how its all going and how they want to proceed.
The backup stopped working and just crashes the server after the upgrade to 6.4.2.

Have started a new thread regarding the back up here. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Backing-up-to-your-ReadyNAS/Readynas-102-not-backing-up-and-freezing-after-upgrade-to-6-4-2/m-p/1054010#M11969
Looks like I will be going to site at some point in the near future as well rather than working remotely all the time.

Hi brosnahan1114,
Welcome to the community!
Can you tell us which Firmware and unit are you using? Are you having trouble with the performance (SMB/CIFS or AFP)?
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards,
BrianL

I'm running the ReadyNAS 102 with Firmware 6.4.2, accessing it from a Mac OS 10.10.5. I'm having trouble with the performance where when I open a folder, it could take a couple of minutes for the contents to display. Both are connected by wire to a Netgear R7000 router. There is also a Win10 laptop which is running wireless, which can display the contents of the folders in seconds.
Thank you

Hi brosnahan1114,
Is Antivirus enabled? In MAC, you can use two file sharing protocols (namely SMB/CIFS and AFP) in accessing your files.
Kind regards,
BrianL

antivirus is disabled. I tried both SMB and AFP, both ways produce the same results
