Readynas 102 connection problem with Apple Macs
I have a client in a design studio where we installed a 2 disk (2x3TB) Readynas 102 about a year ago. The PC's on the network see the folders really quickly but the two Macs seem to have a proble...
I have not reported to netgear support. I'm a new user and have been getting used the device. I experienced the performance lag and decided to do a little research, which led me to this thread.

ThanksProbably best you start your own new thread rather than hijack this one. Its a bug introduced to the Apple OS which Apple have so far refused to acknowledge or fix. There is a fix that can be implemented to the firmware called vfs_fruit which fixes the problem somewhat.

No need to appologize. I really didn't want to hijack your thread, which seems really important for you to address for your client, but I figured my problem was the same thing you/your client was experiencing.
