Have you tried sending yourself a test e-mail on the E-mail Alert Settings?
Have you check the DNS settings of your NAS? Use 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers.
Consider updating the firmware to Beta FW v6.2.3 and it might help (FW v6.2.2 has the App uninstallation issue). Here is the link to the Beta FW v6.2.3: viewtopic.php?t=78866
