At the RAIDar prompt, the username it wants is "admin", and it needs the admin password for the NAS.
It is possible to reset the admin password by doing an OS reinstall from the front panel. See page 24-25 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/RN_OS_6_Desktop_HW_UM_12Oct2015.pdf
The OS reinstall should be non-destructive, and it resets the password to "password". It also resets the network settings to use DHCP with now NIC bonding.
Another option is to do a backup (since you have share access), and rebuild the NAS from scratch (restoring data from the backup).
Finadlly, Support can access the NAS remotely (though they will charge), and fix it.
