ReadyNAS 1100 dropping connection from network
Hi everyone,
I have a ReadyNAS 1100 which has worked pretty well up until recently. I have my Server 2003 domain controller configured with it. I have a folder redirection policy in place for all user data (desktop, my documents), and also have a few network shares. In total there is around 8TB of space.
Every so often, and beginning to happen more frequently, the ReadyNAS drops connection with the network, and requires users to resync their files. Network shares also stop to work. Sometimes it comes back up immediately, and other times it will take some time. We'd often try to adjust the network settings, or reboot it. I try to ping it, but it times out.
Here is a quick snapshot of the System.log
I have more logs if required. Does anyone know why this is happening? Sorry, fairly new with ReadyNAS units..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

- Try to check the ecounter log. Look for sata_lp_stat count and any other counter that has high value. Possible that there is also a failing channel.
- peterbarbosaAspirantYes, here is what that log reads...

If in this case it is a failing channel, what are the next steps? And what does this necessarily mean?
Thanks in advance.
