ReadyNAS 4312 - Volume Capacity for 12 x 8TB disks with RAID 6 & X-RAID
Hi all,
Please point me in right direction if I have posted this in wrong category. This is my first post in this forum. I have done research about this but unfortunately I am unable to workour solution for the issue.
We have purchased ReadyNAS 4312X and initially installed 6 x 8TB disks with RAID 8 and X-RAID. We were getting 36TB storage capacity for the unit.
We have recently added more same disks and now we have same 12 x 8TB disks with same RAID settings. However we are only getting around 38TB at the moment. As per other posts, we should get more than 70TB storage with this configuration.
The unit is running latest firmware 6.6.1. There is only one volume setup on the system.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.
Nik
It's resyncing now. Once that completes volume expansion should then take place.

So as you can see 5 of the 12 disks in your data volume are marked as spare (S). In your case the data volume array is md127.
Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
