ReadyNAS Alert Message (Mum-Nas02 Disk: Critical)
Hi,
Can you recommend a Readynas3138 HDD supported
Because I have the old HD WDC WD40EFRX,
And new HD WDC WD40EFPX.
Can this VDC RAID Plus Readynas3138 Me support me?

Do you know the source of this email?
If not, log into the NAS web ui, and confirm the error message on the log page.

Assuming the email is legitimate:
The disk has failed, so it needs to be replaced. Another WD40EFPX Red Plus or a 4 TB Seagate Ironwolf would be suitable work.
If you need more capacity, you could get a pair of larger WD or Seagate NAS-purposed drives, and expand your storage.
Best to make sure you have a backup, since the data on the NAS is at risk.
