ReadyNAS Duo Can't Be Accessed
I am unable to access my Netgear ReadyNAS Duo from File Explorer on a computer running Windows 10. When I go to the devices IP address to list shares, (http://192.168.1.5/shares/), the screen says I have no shares, however the device has shares. Thoughts?????

Hi CantonDan,
You should be able to access the NAS shares via file explorer by entering '\\<NAS IP address>'. This should be able to list the shares of the NAS.
In case that you are still not able to access the shares by doing that, there is a possibility that SMBv1 is disabled on your Windows 10 computer. You should be able to check if it is enabled by going to "Turn Windows Feature On or Off", then look for SMB 1.0/CIFS.

You are ending up in the browser, but you haven't enabled http for any of your shares. That is why the share list is empty.
Be careful on the slash direction in file explorer. You want to use \\192.168.1.5. If you use the other slash, you will end up in the web browser.

Is this NAS new to you? If so, you likely also need to enable SMB1 in Windows10, as it is disabled by defualt now, but the Duo does not support anything newer.
