Readynas duo v2 - network issue
I have pretty old ReadyNas duo v2 RAIDiator 5.3.13, which i would like to use as my backup. Everything went normal when i factory reset it, i can normally connect using default ip 192.168.168.168, problem starts when i want to change default ip address. Every time i put static IP address it doesn't accept my settings and it put back to default IP address. When i connect my NAS to network where i have router who is mc DCHP server i still doesn't get any of DHCP addresses it stays at default IP. I tried to connect by ssh and telnet but both options are getting refused since it's not enabled on device, and i can't find where i could enable any of them via WebGUI
Anyone have any advice i could try?

That is the failure address for DHCP. Was the NAS ever able to get a DHCP address from your router???

Telnet only works in tech support mode.
To enable ssh, you need to install an add-on. You can download it form here:
This is a "toggle" add-on. It has no ui. You remove it by installing it a second time.
Log into the NAS using root as the username and using the NAS admin password.

Actually static address already was set at NAS before (it was local network) and after i remove it and let NAS get it from DHCP server i was stuck with this problem. So short answer is NO, never been able to get address from DHCP.
I have already downloaded and install add-on but didn't know it's "toggle" add-on as i was searching it under installed add-on, so you are saying i just need to install it and ssh will be enabled?

Correct.

Is there anything unusual about your router setup? Are you using encrypted DHCP or do you perhaps have more than 2 DHCP servers set up in the router?

Sorry for sticking my nose in...
But 192.168.168.XXX is a bit of an odd IP range. Generally, it's 192.168.1.xxx or 0.xxx for most consumer routers. Nothing wrong with using it, but since you are having some issues, I think it warrants double checking basic network configuration settings.
Is your router's LAN IP 192.168.168.1? If not, what is it?
What's the IP range setup in the DHCP server on the router? Also what subnet mask does it show?
What static IP and subnet mask are you trying to assign to the NAS?
Are you sure you have DCHP on the NAS disabled?

192.168.168.168 is address i get when i factory reset NAS, after that i i'm trying to change it to 192.168.11.9 with subnet of 255.255.255.0. I'm doing it locally, not connected on any router or anything.
Notebook is connected on switch, NAS is connected on switch, my NAS have default IP address, my notebook have 192.168.168.169, i can normally use gui, under a network i am entering ethernet settings and there are 2 options i can't recall exact name since at the moment i don't have NAS here but they are something like manually set address/automatic set address...no matter what i choose, what address i am setting default IP always stays.

What are you entering as the gateway address?
