ReadyNAS Duo v2 - ReadyCLOUD not supported - Problem with ReadyNAS remote

I understand that ReadyNAS DUO v2 won't work with ReadyCLOUD. Question: how to have a remote access in the future? The last Android update won't let the ReadyNAS Remote start - and the ReadyNAS Remote is not available in the Playstore anymore. Is there another App like the ReadyNAS Remote? Thanks for ideas and tips....

    Hi amadlmayer,

In order to access your shares in your ReadyNAS Duov2 remotely over the internet, you need forward FTP and HTTP ports in your router pointing to the local IP address of your ReadyNAS Duov2.  Kindly access and read the old forum link below for further information:

Read also pages 37-40 of the ReadyNAS Duo v2 software manual here.

Thanks for your feedback and the proposed solution via FTP.

Some 4 years ago I was using FTP to access my ReadyNAS remotely, after an update of my router FW I was not able to make it work...than I used the ReadyNAS remote app on my smartphone and everything was fine. Now recently the ReadyNAS remote app doesn't work anymore and there is no new version available in Google Play. That means I will try harder to make FTP work again....

        kind regards

        Fredi
