ReadyNas NV+ Checking FS stops at 48%
I hope someone can help me, warning I'm not technical !! ReadyNas NV+ v1 - 4 x 2tb drives After running flawlessly for 5 years it decided to do a Check FS when I turned it on, don't think there was...
Disk 3 seems to be failing. You could try shutting down the NAS and booting the NAS w/o it.
Just for completeness if anybody else finds this thread and has a similar problem.
Brought new disk, fittted whilst NAS running, received these messages:-
11:58 - Hotplug disk event detected (NAS1) - Disk add event occurred on SATA channel 3.
11:58 - RAID event detected (NAS1) - Disk initialization successfully finished.
11:58 - RAID event detected (NAS1) - RAID sync started on volume C.
00:52 - RAID event detected (NAS1) - RAID sync finished on volume C. The volume is now fully redundant.
As you can see it took about 13 hours to sync the new disk.
All looks well now, I'll keep an eye on the other disks as getting on a bit now.
