ReadyNAS NV+ v2 - won't boot with more than 1 disk in
Hi there
I recently wanted to erase all disks and start a fresh with my ReadyNAS unit. It's been great for 12+ years and worked flawlessly.
After erasing all disks the unit refused to boot. I tried most things and eventually it sprang to life using only 1 disk in slot 1. I then had to do a factory reset and the unit boots no problem.
My main issue now is that I have 3 other disks that I need to add to the RAID array and I can't figure out how to do this.
If I add one whilst it's booted and running, it crashes the NAS.
If I add one whilst it's off and then power on, it doesn't boot.
Any tips or tricks to get this back up and running properly will be hugely appreciated, it's not much good to me with 1 disk in I'm afraid.
Many thanks
Dan

Try powering down and moving the disk to slot 2. Power up, and see if it boots. Repeat with slot 3 and slot 4.
