ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer Not Accepting DHCP IP addresses
I've got a ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer that disappeared from my network in the middle of last week. I rebooted from the device's power button and when the device boots up it indicates that it has IP address 192.168.168.168.
I've searched around on the forums and apparently that means the device isn't receiving an address via DHCP. The issue is that DHCP is up and running on my network and is assigning addresses to other devices.
I've direct connected to my ReadyNAS from my laptop and can access FrontView and all of my files just fine.
I've tried renewing the DHCP lease on the port that isn't connected to my laptop (i.e. the one still connected to the network). No luck.
I've tried assigning an IP based on the MAC address and that doesn't have any effect. No luck.
Any thoughts? Any suggestions?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan

Yes, I've tried changing cables, swapping to a different port on the switch and have even tried a different router to assign the address via DHCP.

This will reset the network settings. - digitalnegativeAspirantSorry for the noob question, but the OS re-install won't harm my data will it?
Thanks,
Alan - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe OS-reinstall keeps the data intact. Though of course you should always have a backup...
- digitalnegativeAspirantOkay, I've done the OS reinstall. No luck.
I selected OS reinstall from the boot menu, it checked the file system installed the firmware, checked the file system again and then when requesting an IP still took/received 192.168.168.168.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks,

What version of RAIDiator? - huskyboy1AspirantIf you tried to set a static IP on your NAS and connect it to your network. Are you able to access it?
