ReadyNAS RN316 MOUNT_BLOCK_ROOT E25
I use the RN316 to back up Mac devices at home using Timemachine. I also have a volume that I store photos/videos, but I don't use it much. I noticed the backups had stoped and Raidar didn't connect. The display showed MOUNT_BLOCK_ROOT +E25. I removed the drives and tried booting, but same error.
I created a USB recovery boot drive and tried to use it, but still got same error. The way I tried to use the USB drive was to plug it into the front of the ReadyNAS, push the power button on front of ReadyNAS, wait for the display to flash on/off, then hold the OK button. The display said "booting...", but didn't indicate whether it was booting off the USB.
What can I do to resolve this issue? Is my data intact?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
It sounds like the previous USB recovery worked but, for unknown reasons, the unit did not shut down to let you know it was successful.

Did you follow this procedure to make the USB recovery disk? https://kb.netgear.com/29952/How-do-I-use-the-USB-Recovery-Tool-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-storage-system

Yes, that's how I was able to create the USB recovery drive and boot to ReadyNAS using that recovery drive. Are you thinking the USB recovery drive is somehow corrupt?
