RN104 crashing during resync

Hi.

3 days ago my RN104 with firmware 6.4.1 gets unaccessable and I had to pull the plug. This caused the device to resync the 4 WD red harddiscs. Today at almost 90% the device gets again unaccessable and I have to start from scratch again. Although I have the log files I do not understand the behaviour... Anybody able to help me?

    I would say the update of the last beta fixed my issue... Whatever reason was behind is gone.

    HI XAffi,

     

    Check the status or the health of each NAS drive that you have. Connect them on a PC and run the manufacturer's disk diagnostic tool.

      Thanks Brian for your response. According the SMART status provided in the logs the 4 drives seems "OK". Shall I really shut down the NAS and stop the re-sync or would you recommend to wait if it "stops workgin" again?

        Hi, I am interested in this answer - having the same problem. Since 6.4.1 firmware upgrade the RN104 crashes so won't go to admin page, shut down or reboot. If I pull the power it boots, takes 30 hours to resync and then as soon as it completes it crashes again... Help!
