[Solved] Uninstalled Cacti now Website doesn't work RN102
Hey all,
Bought an RN102 the other day and it's been perfect so far, my wife named it Sandy. Today I made the mistake of installing Cacti so I could try and monitor bandwidth, it was slow and more complex to use than I expected so I uninstalled it.
During the uninstall the web interface said "your device is busy or has been disconnected", since then I can't access the web interface at all, just getting connection refused errors.
I need to be able to solve this without any data loss, the NAS has 5TB of files on it and it contains both large hard drives I own so I can't copy off the files to somewhere else and wipe the drives. I can't afford to buy more harddrives, I'm short on money at the moment and the NAS was my last bit of disposable income.
I didn't enable SSH at any point (I didn't think a premade addon would do enough damage to need ssh).
It still functions fine over SMB, FTP etc. just the website is broken.
Is there anything I can do?
EDIT: I did search the forums before posting this, looks like a lot of people have problems with Cacti but all the fixes involve SSH or data loss. I'm also on the latest firmware
Thanks

I have exactly the same problem like birdsal.
Web connection lost after/during deinstallation of application.
In my casy it was "Contacts and Calendars server".
Remember - I am totally newbie.
No SSH (is not enabled on my nas) skills and like this.
Greetings. - dozeAspirantI have this exact same problem. I installed Monsta FTP, then uninstalled it. The web interface did not respond during the uninstall process, and after refreshing the web interface is not available.
NFS and SMB shares are all working, as well as the uTorrent app. I tried an OS re-install through the boot menu to no joy... Looks like it's only the web interface that is broken at this stage. Any tips? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredJust fixed doze's system.
- dozeAspirantThanks, mdgm!
